Evaluación de diferentes modelos de optimización para la planificación de faenas silvícolas
1998
Bosque (Valdivia)
The use of sound speed transmission, measured parallel to the board surface, as a predictor of board quality was studied. The variables were: board density, resin content and closure time of the press. The level of association and dependence between the variables were determined through correlation analisis. Boards were made using Roble (Nothofagus obliqua) and Raulí (Nothofagus alpina) wood. A high correlation between sound speed transmission, board density and adhesive content was determined.
