... ries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The relevance of Muslim-legal culture for Central Asia is determined by the fact that Islam is not something alien and extraneous for Central Asia. It is an integral part of its history and culture, the most important aspect of lifestyle of tens millions Central Asian Muslims. In present-day Central Asia Islam is characterized by an extraordinary variety, pluralism of manifestations, and ambiguity of functions, which are determined both by common features peculiar to Islam, as well as by country-specific social, cultural, political, religious and other factors. The article notes that the Muslim -legal culture contains many useful things in Central Asia for solving the urgent task of bringing moral and legal foundations under the policy.
