... ine the trajectory of the mobile anchor nodes which is based upon the node density and the distance between the nodes in the network. The mobile anchor nodes broadcast packets to the visited sensor nodes depending on the PSO visiting schedule. The non-localized nodes on receiving the packets, calculate the estimated distance between each of the mobile anchors and using trilateration method, they are localized. From the simulation results, it is proved that localization delay and energy consumption are reduced with increased packet delivery ratio, when compared to the existing approach.
