The Great Silk Road is an intercontinental caravan road (BC) that first intertwined the countries of the East and West in the ancient and Middle Ages. The term Great Silk Road is associated with the precious commodity transported from this road — Chinese silk. Western countries have long been unaware of the secrets of silk production.
