The large-scale loach, Paramisgurnus dabryanus, is a small freshwater fish of major economic importance in many Asian countries, particularly China and South Korea. Fifteen polymorphic microsatellite (simple sequence repeat) markers were obtained through cross-species amplification between this loach and a related species, Misgurnus anguillicaudatus (GenBank accession numbers: KC117456 to KC117470).
