Original scientific paper Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) of NiTi alloy was studied in the electrolyte consisting generally of concentrated orthophosphoric acid with an addition of copper II nitrate. The PEO process was used to obtain a nanostructured coating on the Nitinol surface.
