The Voice for Change Partnership (V4CP) is a multisectoral programme funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGIS), operated jointly by the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), and implemented in six countries: Burkina Faso, Ghana, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya and Rwanda. ... , knowledge development, advocacy skills, and organizational sustainability, CSOs are empowered to speak with a greater voice. The V4CP trains CSO members to use research evidence, data and case studies to back up their advocacy strategies. The V4CP tackles four issues-food and nutrition security, resilience, renewable energy, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH)-while addressing gender imbalance and climate change mitigation. By collaborating with national and international partners, different levels of government, and the private sector, CSOs contribute to improving the "enabling environment". Strengthening the voice of CSOs in policy creation and the implementation of services ensures that the interests of communities represented by CSOs are better served.
