Pancreatic fistula is the most dreaded complication after pancreaticoduodenectomy due to its morbidity and mortality. Multiple procedures to reduce the incidence of this complication have been described: a- Systematic inhibition of pancreatic enzyme secretion using octapeptide in the postoperative period; bUse of biological fibrin-based adhesive to cover and reinforce the anastomosis; c- Use of omentum flap to wrap the pancreatic anastomosis with the jejunum; dAnastomosis with Wirsung duct
