It is shown that "another" has an additive interpretation when it combines with Measure Phrases or Numeral Phrases. A number of discourse sensitive properties of additive "another" are studied, and it is argued that these are best accounted for by assuming that additive "another" is anaphoric to a Question Under Discussion, in a model of discourse inspired by Roberts 1996 and Buring 2003.
