Electron Microscopic Studies on Surface Fine Structures of Papers
Electron probe microanalysis was carried out as to the spacial filler distribution in uncoated papers. Three different types of commercial uncoated papers were selected as specimens, uncoated paper (A) was filled with talc, uncoated paper (B) with titanium dioxide and uncoated paper (C) with talc and titanium dioxide. Comparative observation was made among secondary electron image, backscattered electron image and X-Ray image by scanning surface and cross section of the papers with electron beam.
