Cutaneous larval migration (CLM) is a condition of high incidence in tropical countries, caused by the movement of parasite larvae through the epidermis. The similarities of the skin lesions to those described in other diseases favor the errors in the clinical diagnosis while inadequacies in the therapeutic management of patients are reported.
