Spheroidal graphite cast iron has excellent strength and elongation and has been used as suspension parts for automobiles or construction machineries. But cast iron that used as parts in buildings, the material can't bear the tensile stress and shear stress. In this study, we evaluated the fracture toughness of sheroidal graphite cast iron by the charpy impact test and 3-point bending fracture toughness test.
