A B S T R A C T The novel pyrazole derivatives were synthesized by reacting substituted bis-chalcones with 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy benzaldehyde to get 3,4-bis-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)-7-(N-phenyl)-3,3a,3b,4,5,7-hexahydro -2H-pyrrolo [2,3-c,5,4-c] dipyrazole using the solvent-free microwave method. All these derivatives were screened for antimicrobial activities.
