Abstract. The use of consumer gadgets such as smartphones can be incorporated in high accuracy LiDAR mapping with a proper assessment of sensors. Apple's iPhone 13 Pro includes a LiDAR scanner that can create mapping projects with standard point cloud exports using the help of the built-in gyroscope and accelerometer, the iPhone can generate a 3D map by calculating its position and movement as the user navigates around a site. Its ability to create these maps brings up the question of the level
