The sludge produced by biochemical treatment process of coal gasification wastewater contains large amount of phenol and tar, it is difficult to be degraded by conventional methods. Supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) technique was carried out for biochemical sludge from coal gasification wastewater treatment.
