Nuclear oligomerization domains (NODs) are cytosolic pattern recognition receptors (PRRs), present in epithelial cells, monocytes and dendritic cells. This study details their expression, regulation and role in human endometrium. Real-time PCR showed that NOD1 mRNA is constitutively expressed in endometrium.
