through an elite institution, I mirror, quite literally, the dominant positionality of vii those who have historically created, lead, and instructed in this field. I aim to remain cognizant of this relationship throughout my writing, and to cautiously consider the viability of sex education as a socially transformative and radical tool. Naming these two complimentary experiences, of teaching and learning from inventive and inclusive sex education, is crucial in helping my reader understand my voice.
