Türkiye'de kooperatif sigortacılığının performansı üzerine bir çalışma: Caramels analizi

Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de kurulan ve 2017 yılına kadar kooperatif sigortacılığı olarak faaliyetlerine devam eden "KORU" ve "DOĞA" sigorta şirketlerinin mali performansları analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada her iki kooperatif sigorta oluşumunun mali verileri CARAMELS yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiş ve bu yöntemde yer alan oranlar karşısında yeterliliği sağlayıp sağlamadıkları kontrol edilmiştir. The main function of insurance is to compensate the damages by bringing together financial means against damages that occur as a result of actual risks. Cooperatives, on the other hand, are defined as the formation where the economic and financial problems that exist with the combination of financial forces such as insurance as a definition that originates from the past. For this reason, it can be said that insurance and cooperatives have similar characteristics. Insurance cooperatives is the name given to the establishment of a "cooperative" as required by the rules of the cooperative, which was established with the aim of eliminating the risks that more than one person or institution with similar risks may unite around a common benefit. In this study, the financial performance of insurance companies established in Turkey and continued to operate until 2017 as a cooperative insurance company, which are named "KORU" and "DOĞA", were analyzed.
