The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between gender and the development of strategic plans in Micro and Small enterprises (MSEs) funded by the Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF) in Suba Sub County, Kenya. A simple random sampling was used to sample out 39 group owned MSEs from a target population of 130 group owned MSEs. A combined closed and open ended questionnaire was used to obtain primary data.
