Let us consider the hierarchical equation in the linear case (4.2). Our aim is to reconstruct the triplet of coefficients b, β, γ in this equation. The simplest possibility is to use the measurements of the harmonic waves for this purpose. Since the number of unknowns is three, at least three different harmonic waves have to be measured. On the basis of such measurements we can formulate the following inverse problem.
