The role of higher learning institutions (HLIs) is increasingly becoming important in contributing to socio-economic development in nations year after year. HLIs cannot fully play their roles unless proper strategies are in place. This study explored strategies which can improve the performance of HLIs using 39 respondents who were purposively selected.
