Falls are a common experience for the elderly. Falls in the elderly can be reduced by early enrollment in fall prevention programs. Identifying people at high fall risk before they have actually fallen would allow earlier enrollment in fall prevention programs and possibly prevent or delay the onset of repetitive falls.
