The problem of acute gastroduodenal hemorrhages remains one of the most urgent and unsolved tasks of urgent surgery Our study included 199 patients with hemorrhage from chronic ulcers. The first group (control) consist 104 patients with hemorrhage of chronic ulcers, in which active tactics was used, based on forecast of rebleeding.
