This work was performed to study Castilla Rose (Purshia plicata) as a potential source of polyphenols obtained by solid-state fermentation (SSF)-assisted extraction using the microorganism Aspergillus niger GH1 and to evaluate the antioxidant activity of the extracted compounds.
