In this case a better approximation for the pressure waveform is given by where F, is obtained from equations (18) and (20) . Pressure waveforms estimated from equations (26) and (27) are in close agreement with those computed by machine as shown in Figs. 7(6) and 9. The maximum Reynolds numbers attained for Cases 7 and 13 are smaller than unity
