The article analyzes the features of such a measure of self-defense as the institution of extreme necessity in administrative law, and examines judicial practice in such cases. It is stated that extreme necessity is a circumstance that excludes administrative responsibility of a person for the committed offense. Criteria of extreme necessity are listed.
