The growth of mixed tungsten sulphoselenide single crystals i.e. WS x Se 2-x (0 ≤ x ≤ 2) grown by vapour phase technique and their characterization by Hall effect and thermoelectric power measurements have been reported. The Hall effect measurement indicates that these crystals are p-type in nature, which is very well supported by thermoelectric power measurements.
