Improvement of Spatial Resolution for Air Temperature Distribution Reconstructed from Direct and Reflected Sounds

This paper describes an increasing method of a spatial resolution in a measurement of temperature distribution. The temperature distribution was measured with sound probes and was vertically reconstructed as six rectangular unit cells. Reflected sounds from walls were used as available information for increasing propagation paths. Using the reflected sounds that reflect off the wall one time, one sound probe could obtain three propagation paths. The temperature distributions were reconstructed
more » ... were reconstructed as five rectangular unit cells using four transducers. The partitioned pattern was performed numerically, the patterns were changed arbitrarily. Combining two temperature distributions of different partitioned patterns, a number of the spatial resolution increased six equivalently.
