The interaction between languages has been kept directly or indirectly through the ages. As the meadiating languages provide the interaction between noncontiguous languages an indirect relationship has been built between them. On the other hand, a direct relationship has been sustained between contiguos languages which develop social, political and military relationship thanks to geographical proximity. ... a language in terms of phonetic, form, vocabulary and sentence structure. However, this effect is mostly seen in terms of phonetic, form and vocabulary in Turkish dialects. While Leyla Karahan was categorizing Turkish dialects, she had taken in consideration the effects of Arabic and Farsi from contiguous foreign languages. Yet another contiguous language affecting Turkish dialects has been Russian. Intimate relationship between nations which have a geographical proximity has left a lasting impact on russian and turkish language and their dialects. Turkish dialect neighboring on Russia for many years, accommodates so many Russian words in various dialect regions. While these Russian words are mostly seen at second subgroup of east group dialects, Russian words are also encountered in other dialect regions. The reasons of nesting into dialects of Russian words showing significant phonetic changes in different dialects, are mainly historical and social reasons. In this article, Russian words; in Turkish dialect studies and dialect dictioanaries will be determined, the changes of phonetic and semantic seen in these words will be given with their reasons. Moreover, by determining in which region dialects Russian words occur, the reasons of them will be taken in consideration.
