On a Manuscript of the Udmurt-Russian Dictionary of 1816 In the manuscript Dictionary of the Votyak Language compiled by priest Stepan Sidorov in the Votyak village of Jelovo in October 1816 there is a list of about one thousand words. The lexical material of the manuscript is quite similar and at times analogous to that of the Grammar of the Votyak Language published in 1775 in Kazan.
