The Abu Homs Center contains31villages,and the village of Kom al-Qanater was chosen from among them as it is considered medium in the level of human development.The study included all female heads of households who are in the fertile period in the sample's village.According to the Crijsey and Morgen equation the sample size was determined to be353women. To achieve the study, a questionnaire was designed and was collected through a personal interview.The results showed that the independent variables that have a significant relationship with the dependent variable are the respondents'age,the respondents'formal education level,the spouse's profession, the level of geographic openness,the skill level, the level of skills that lead to income,the degree of belonging to the local community. The independent variables that have no significant relationship with the dependent variable are the husband's formal education level,number of children,family type,leadership ability,and level of ambition.The study concluded with the presentation of suggestions and recommendations to raise the level of empowering rural women.
