The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the self-efficacy and self-directed learning ability in high school students. Third, there were significant correlations among the all sub factors of self-efficacy and total score of self-directed learning ability. In addition, there was negative correlation between confidence and self-directed learning ability. The results suggest that the self-efficacy of high school students are related to their self-directed learning ability and also have influence on their self-directed learning ability.
