THE following extract from a letter written by an English Medical Officer, who has been serving in one of the hospitals in Bosnia, will prove interesting to our readers :-', The hospital is now filled with scurvy, dysentery, ague, and diarrhœa. The number suffering from scurvy that present themselves daily in the out patient room is quite appalling.
