Asynchronous data fusion is more practical than synchronous data fusion, the model of track-to-track fusion in this case has been established and the concept of Track Quality with Multiple Model (TQMM) was put forward, furthermore a data fusion algorithm is proposed, in which the TQMM is used to assign weights, to improve tracking precision in asynchronous multi-sensor data fusion system.
