The work herein addresses this gap through model development that can go inside of a web-based cost/resource loaded construction schedule and extract components (segments) that will be for the use of the Owner/Contractor. This is contingent upon the Project Superintendent and/or the Project Manager updating the progress at the end of the work day. The model will provide summary tasks to include; the activity, the cost of the activity, the resource, cost to a point of an activity, float, and whether an activity is on time, behind or ahead of schedule for the benefit of the Owner. A case study is presented to validate the model development that will be used to advance the current state-of-the-practice in construction scheduling and management.
