In this year, the BICA conference received a record number of 287 paper submissions, of which 79 were published in a pre-conference volume of proceedings in Springer's AISC Series, and 132 were included here after a careful peer review. The mission of BICA conference series has been always to address the most crucial and controversial topics in the science of Humanlike Artificial Intelligence, addressing the BICA Challenge: to create a real-life computational equivalent of the human mind,
