Using Biebersteinia multifida aqueous extract, and the Photocatalytic Activity of Synthesized Silver Nanoparticles
2018
Oriental Journal of Chemistry
Now a days synthesis of nanoparticles using plants and herbal products is significant by the many researchers. In this study, we report the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) using aqueous extract of Biebersteinia multifida at room temperature and its photocatalytic activity for degradation of methyl blue (MB) dye under visible light. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by using UV-Vis spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
