... ol group, observation group, 45 cases in each group. The control group received only orthognathic treatment, while the observation group received combined orthognathic and orthodontic treatment. Compare the changes of skull imaging diagnostic indexes, treatment effect, prognosis, complications and recurrence before and after treatment. Results: There was no statistical difference in the comparison of cranial imaging diagnostic indices (SNB, ANB, UI-NA, LI-NB) between the two groups before treatment, P>0.05; after treatment, patients' SNB, ANB, UI-NA and LI-NB improved significantly compared with those before treatment, and the improvement of the observation group was greater than that of the control group in the same period, P<0.05; the effective rate of the treatment in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, P<0.05; the efficiency of the treatment in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, P<0.05; the rate of prognostic complications and recurrence was lower in the observation group than in the control group, P < 0.05. Conclusion: The combined orthognathic and maxillofacial orthodontic solution in the treatment of post-cleft lip and palate deformities is effective in correcting patients' dental occlusion problems based on effective improvement of their maxillofacial deformities, and can positively reduce the complication rate after orthognathic surgery and control the prognosis safely.
