... aquito González Cueto" Pediatric Hospital, in the province of Cienfuegos, between July 2019 and April 2020. The universe consisted of 55 children with metabolic disorders. The principles of medical ethics were respected. Results: the age group 10 to 14 years (54,5 %) predominated, hypertriglyceridemia (72,7 %) as the main disorder, male sex (56,36 %) and white skin color (98,16 %). Of the 55 patients with metabolic disorders, 29,1 % had high blood pressure levels. 74,5 % of the patients reported having a family history of hypertension, mainly in those with hypertriglyceridemia (77,5 %). 7 children had non-alcoholic fatty liver, where 100 % had hypetriglyceridemia and 17 had acanthosis nigricans on physical examination (30,9 %). Conclusions: obese pediatric patients with endocrine disorders were mainly male and white skin color, presenting hypertriglyceridemia as the main disorder, as well as high levels of arterial tension. Family history of high blood pressure and obesity were common.
