Parageobacillus thermoglucosidasius represents a thermophilic, facultative anaerobic bacterial chassis, with several desirable traits for metabolic engineering and industrial production. To further optimize strain productivity, a systems level understanding of its metabolism is needed, which can be facilitated by a genome-scale metabolic model.
