The objective of this work was evaluate MDF sawdust as an alternative adsorbent for textile dyes red Quimacryl GRL and Nylosan blue N-BLN. Adsorption studies were performed in a fixed bed column using MDF sawdust in natura and treated with 0.10 mol L -1 NaOH and HCl. Saturation curves were obtained percolating 100 mg L -1 solutions of dyes in the sawdust filled column, 25 mL aliquots were collected and the remaining dye concentration determined by spectrophotometry.
