All records are documented with citations to literature or specific records, many previously unpublished. Nomenclature of parasitoids and hosts is updated as far as possible. An index to the hosts refers back to the taxonomic list of parasitoids, so that all known parasitoids for a particular host can readily be found. The catalog includes several new unpublished records of parasitoids in southern Africa supplied by Rolf G. Oberprieler of the Plant Protection Research Institute, Pretoria.
