Mechanical behavior of metallic fiber-reinforced adhesive under dynamic loading

The mechanical behavior of metallic fiber reinforced adhesively bonded Single Lap Joints (SLJ) under dynamic loading has been studied. The effect of different fiber spacing along the joint width on the strength of SLJs was investigated experimentally. The experimental tests were conducted on non-reinforced and reinforced adhesives joints fabricated using Araldite 2015 adhesive.
