Objective: This study evaluated the effects of traditional Korean medicine on a patient with hyperthyroidism, who could not use antithyroid medication due to an adverse reaction to methimazole. Methods: Herbal medicine was administered and acupuncture was carried out. A thyroid function test was used to evaluate the effects of the treatment.
