Selection of k Sets of Disjoint Channels for Advertising with an Aim to Maximize Viewers' Count and Minimize Cost Constrained by Budget

A production unit sponsors a number of programmes in different television channels. Aim of the unit is to spread the product related message to a maximum number of targeted viewers. However, to make the venture a successful one, a sufficient amount of budget must have to provide. So, this paper attempts to maximize number of viewers, while keeping cost of purchasing the programmes within a specified amount of budget.
