Over the last decade, the online travel industry has been undergoing a major change-adapting to new technologies and trends available on the Internet. The emergence of social media is of key importance in this change, which represents different types of user-generated content (UGC) such as blogs, virtual communities, wikis, social networks, and media files shared on sites like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Flicker.
