We give an explicit description of the "canonical basic set" for all Iwahori-Hecke algebras of finite Weyl groups in "good" characteristic. We obtain a complete classification of simple modules for this type of algebras. 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification. Primary 20C08; Secondary 20C20.
