Education is the bedrock of any meaningful development. This article attempts to examine effective educational planning and development of peace education, its challenges and prospects. The paper discusses the concept of planning, concept of educational, concept of peace objectives of peace education, characteristic of peace education, relationship between school curriculum and peace education and challenges and prospect of peace education.
