Circulating-bed bioreactor made of quartz glass was used for phenol degradation under ultraviolet w ith 254nm wave2 length. Regularity of phenol degradation was respectively discussed and compared under photolysis by ultraviolet alone, biodegra2 dation by biofil m alone, and coup led ultraviolet and biofil m.
