The Students Counseling Needs and Relationship to their Educational Level at Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman University

This study aimed at investigating the counseling needs of Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University students in the academic, psychological and social fields and its relationship to educational level. A sample consisting of 160 students was selected randomly from different departments of the College of Education. more » ... lidity of the questionnairs were high and suitable for implementing the research. To answer the questions of this study, averages and standard deviations , Scheffe test and one way analysis of variance were used. Results showed that the academic counseling was the most needed. Also students have shown that they need to improve their academic level and have pointed that they wish for less academic load. The results also show no statistically significant differences between the responses of a sample study with respect to the domain academic career, but there were differences in the social field between all levels for the benefit of students of the first year and fourth year, as well as the differences in the psychological field for the benefit of students of the first year and the fourth year.
